
Mr. Irvine is a shareholder in the firm's Litigation Department. His practice focuses on areas of litigation, appellate, banking, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, and construction, and he is skilled in every aspect of the negotiation process.
Mr. Irvine has recently specialized in very large commercial litigation and has participated in two of the biggest trials in Northern Nevada in the past four years. He recently obtained a judgment in excess of $100 million in claims for fraud and misrepresentation following an eight-week trial.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Irvine was a shareholder at Jones Vargas. He served a clerkship with the Honorable Melvin Brunetti, Senior Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He was also a member of the Charter Class of the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Despite recent signs that the national and Nevada economies are improving, and despite the 26 percent drop in bankruptcy filings in northern Nevada from 2011 to 2012, it is likely that a full economic recovery in northern Nevada may still be far away.
