Mr. Garg is an associate in the firm's Appellate and Commercial Litigation Departments. He has extensive experience representing clients in contractual disputes, healthcare matters, business torts, intellectual property and entertainment law.
Mr. Garg’s most recent case involves successfully seeking injunctive relief on an emergency basis on behalf of multiple physicians, whereby the physicians’ professional liability insurance carrier was required to continue tendering full indemnity and defense to the physicians for thousands of medical malpractice claims stemming from alleged deceitful practices that apparently caused a widespread breakout of hepatitis C. Mr. Garg’s other cases include representing clients in copyright infringement matters and representing celebrities who are seeking assistance with general matters.
Mr. Garg’s healthcare practice includes working on matters involving hospital medical executive committees and representing medical groups that have sought relief for violations of non-compete agreements by former employees. Mr. Garg has additionally represented physicians and medical groups in addressing concerns pertaining to the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law.
Mr. Garg has argued appeals before the Supreme Court of Nevada, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, U.S. Health and Human Services Departmental Appellate Board, and the Nevada Tax Commission.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Garg was an associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. He was a judicial law clerk for Supreme Court of Nevada Justice Michael L. Douglas, and for the Honorable Bruce A. Markell and the Honorable Linda B. Riegle of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada.
Mr. Garg received the “40 Under 40” Award from VEGAS INC for 2013. He has been consistently recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Mountain States "Rising Star." This distinction is shared by only 2.5% of the state's total attorneys.
He was also been named by Vegas INC. as one of the "Top Lawyers" in the Lawsuits/Disputes category.
Mr. Garg's accolades include being recognized as a “Legal Elite Top Attorney” and “Up and Coming Attorney” by Nevada Business Magazine.
Mr. Garg is a member of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada “100 Hours Club.”
Mr. Garg has additionally earned the Avvo "Top Attorney" Rating.
